Adidala Vijaya Roy: A Journey of Dedication to Public Service and Community Empowerment.
Adidala Vijaya Roy — a lifelong advocate for women, a tireless voice for the underprivileged, and a proven leader who has transformed compassion into action. From creating thousands of jobs to standing on the frontlines of Telangana’s political journey, she continues to serve with integrity, courage, and a vision for an empowered tomorrow.
Early Life & Education
Adidala Vijaya Roy was born in Shamirpet, a vibrant part of Malkajgiri District in Telangana, into a family that valued honesty, hard work, and community. Growing up, she witnessed first-hand both the struggles of ordinary people and the impact that committed leadership could have on their lives. From her school days, she developed a natural curiosity about governance, fairness, and social change. Friends and teachers often noticed her confidence in speaking up for classmates and neighbours, an early sign of the political instincts that would later define her career.
While many children dreamed of safe, predictable paths, Vijaya Roy nurtured a bold ambition: to become a politician who would use power not for privilege, but for public good – especially for the poor, women, and marginalized communities who often lacked a strong voice. Determined to prepare herself, she pursued and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Her education not only strengthened her analytical and communication skills but also deepened her understanding of society, history, and governance, laying a solid foundation for the public service journey she had already set her heart on.

With her husband’s encouragement, Vijaya Roy stepped into the world of entrepreneurship. Together, they identified opportunities that could not only sustain a family business but also contribute to local economic growth. Starting with limited resources but unlimited determination, the couple built a venture that steadily grew into a successful enterprise, eventually creating employment for thousands of people.
